SnappyMail admin password reset

After setting up a new instance of Cyberpanel on a VPS I was able to login to SnappyMail admin account. The problem is that I nolonger remeber the admin password( :sweat_smile:) and I can’t access snappymail admin (I changed the password after the initial admin login).

Is there a way of resetting the SnappyMail admin account either from the console or something ?

Try this:

  • Edit /usr/local/lscp/cyberpanel/rainloop/data/_data_/_default_/configs/application.ini comment out the admin_password line (;admin_password =)
  • Reboot your server
  • generate a new password by trying to log in as admin (https://cp.example.com/snappymail/?admin)
  • log in using the new password from /usr/local/lscp/cyberpanel/rainloop/data/_data_/_default_/admin_password.txt
  • change the password in the panel after logging in
