Upgrade failed with "protobuf requires Python '>=3.7'.."

My server use the version 2.3 Build 4
image

When I start the update script it runs for a while, but then I get this error message.

Any ideas?

For your information, I am still using CentOS 7, but unfortunately the support has recently expired and CentOS 7 can no longer be updated.

This is what it shows me when I search for updates for the CentOS 7 server.

I am also having the same error. Did you solve this problem?

Same problem on CloudLinux 7,

There is no more support for CentOS 7.
You can elevate to Almalinux 9.

I think the only way to get past this is to replace python3 with python 3.8 or 3.9

To fix the current panel if it’s not loading:

Follow this:

CentOS 7 has reached its end-of-life (EOL) on June 30, 2024 and is therefore no longer supported. I think it’s pointless to bother with it any further. Since Cyberpanel is now also supported by Ubuntu, I set up a new Ubuntu server and moved my web servers to it. It was a bit bumpy at first because the database was old and had accumulated junk data, but after a cleanup the migration went smoothly.

I have the same issue, How to fix this? i am trying to upgrade in order to avoid the hacking thats going on. Can guide me on how to upgrade cyberpanel to latest version so the current hacking scenerio doesnt effect me?

same here please

Same here! Any updates on this?

CentOS 7 is unfortunately a thing of the past. I have migrated to an Ubuntu system. I have written a little tutorial on this. Maybe it will help one or the other.
