Help Requested: CyberPanel Backup Restore works but WordPress Critical Error because File Permissions not correct

When I restore a domain account in a new installation of cyberpanel from a backup:

backup-domain.com-10.03.2024_07-00-40.tar.gz

The restoration works, all files and databases are installed.
The same user for the account is there from the CyberPanel where the backup was taken.

The result is wordpress saying: Critical Error

When I go to CyberPanel File Manager to “Fix Permissions” is says ok BUT I can not change, edit or delete any files in the file manager.

So it seems the files are there but I can not control them.

Any ideas what the problem is?

This only happens on one very old domain.

The only “Fix” I have that works is to create a new website in CyberPanel for that domain, Install wordpress and restore the site using UpDraft (Plugin) and then it works normally.

Is this the right place to ask for this help?

Thank you. Problem is not ownership as they are assigned by the “Restore backup”

The owner name is correct and the CHMOD are correct/normal

It happens only with one domain and with CyberPanel Backup/restore. Using UpDraft Wordpress restore works normally.

Something not allowing control of files that is being triggered with the backup function

The problem is usually the public_html folder.
Make sure the group on that is “nobody”

In the past, the “Fix Permissions” did not update this.

Already checked that.

the group is correct = nogroup
