Why I cannot update or delete any file from file manager

Hi guys, I am new here. Just started using cyberpanel. I need some help regarding changing the file from file managers. I am trying to update .htaccess file through file manager in cyberpanel. Every time I save it successfully, after reloading it shows me the old text. I have even tried deleting the file that also not happening.

Does anyone knows how to do that???
Or what am I doing wrong???

I think there’s a “fix permissions” button in the file manager, you can try that.

Click fix permissions and try then
