I am recently started moving from shared hosting to VPS hosting,
I started with DigitalOcean marketplace and selected CyberPanel package.

now I am all good with the site on it, but my question is: are there any steps (like security) I need to take either on CyberPanel or my server ?

Change panel and SSH ports and disable root login, also open only needed ports from VPS provider firewall. Set up Login Failure Blocking with CSF and install modsecurity.
