Unable to Receive or send email from server on GCP

Hi Team,

I am facing a strange issue, I am not able to send or receive emails to/from my email created for domain hosted on cyberpanel v 1.8.9

I have followed documentation & blog post mentioned below

Added dns records on cloudflare for my domain like spf, mx, dmarc, dkim etc.

Opened port 2525(SMTP) & 1089(Mail Policy) in firewall rules plus added PTR records to VM for my domain as well.

Also disabled selinux as informed last time by your team.

Is opendkim still causing an issue in V1.8.9 as identified by @qtwrk last time.

Anyone can guide me to resolve this.

hmmmmm , please check your mail log , it usually states why it failed to delivery.

I deleted emai log, then logged into the account and proceeded to send an email.

After receiving the email, I reply to the sender… but the recipient does not receive the email.

I receive this error from gmail

“The response was:
The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect.”

Hi @CyberPanel

So sad to know this, they should allow at-least transnational mails from the virtual machines. :triumph:

And still I am yet to see performance improvement on google cloud why these so called WP managed hosting providers glorify GCP based on performance. Even my Digitalocean servers are having better load time than GCP for the same site :sweat_smile:.

One thing which I noticed is FTP transfer speed is good but when you update plugins via WP repository it takes quite a time.

Any recommendation one email & smtp services, does google offers anything similar to Amazon SES.

I don’t think GCP is competing on performance compared to DO or other providers, rather focusing on reliability for larger enterprises.

Same with Amazon lightsail, price is same but low performance.
