Unable to Connect to Terminal and FTP on Newly Created Website – Connection Refused (Errno 111)

Hello,

I recently created a new website on my CyberPanel hosting platform. Even though I have purchased all available addons, I am unable to open the Terminal for the new website. When I click on “Terminal”, I receive the following error message:

Fetching authentication token...
Connecting to terminal...
Connected.
Connection error: Multiple exceptions: [Errno 111] Connect call failed ('::1', 22, 0, 0), [Errno 111] Connect call failed ('127.0.0.1', 22)
Connection closed.

After encountering this, I tried creating an FTP account to upload my project manually, but I faced similar connection errors when trying to connect via FTP.

I have verified that all addons are active, and the website was successfully created in CyberPanel. However, the terminal and FTP both fail to connect.

Could someone please help me identify what might be causing this issue and how to fix it?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

We need some help and direction on this issue. Can you please let us know how to avoid this issue?

Ubuntu 2024
Cyberpanel Ver: 2.4.4

Installed a second brand new server with above version and getting the same result. The first server had the CP add-on lifetime. This one didn’t. Same issue for terminal and putty sessions for website accounts.

On one of those servers reinstalled Ubuntu 2022 and Cyberpanel 2.4.4. The Open Terminal option in CP and Putty connection using the website SSH login is working fine.

It confirms the issue is with CP on Ubuntu 24.
