There are so many +1 now, how exactly people want this feature to work. Maybe someone can explain in more details rather than just a title.

For me, my backup service connects directly to the DB and creates a backup, you provide DB creds and whitelist their IP and schedule your backup frequency.

Can you let me know which backup service are you using !

Also If their is an option to use / connect google cloud sql with cyberpanel for the frontend, it will be a great option for database heavy website to scale.

Sure, It’s called Dropmysite (https://www.dropmysite.com/en). It’s used by some hosting companies and integrates with cPanel/whm.

it’s work.
and do not forget to change your /etc/cyberpanel/mysqlPassword

Will the CyberPanel support reply on this thread or if this feature not available ?

cPanel has this feature by the same title (How to configure remote MySQL databases in cPanel).

Being able to add an external Database server to CyberPanel would be wonderful. Having CyberPanel be able to proxy the database connection to another server that is transparent to the users would allow for far greater scalability of hosting services.
