I havean install of Matomo which needs some folder acceess denied. Matomo comes with .htaccess files but they do not work with OLS. So I referred to OLS socs Access Control – OpenLiteSpeed to see what to use.
I tried entering the following in Cyberpanel website>Rewrite Rules:
RewriteRule ^dennied_folder/.*$ - [F,L]
Then did a OLS restart but still the folders are not blocked. I ended up using “context” in OLS to block the folders but does anyone know why the above rule does not work when entered in Cyberpanel? You can’t enter it in OLS as it defers to Cyberpanel.
