Moving incremental backup restore points in Cyberpanel doesn't delete them from drive

I’m trying to remove a long list of incremental backup restore points, as they are taking up too much disk space (15+ GB for a 650mb site).

I deleted about half of the “restore points” in Cyberpanel for that particular site. But the files still remain in the incbackup folder for that site. The folder hasn’t reduced in size at all.

What’s the secret to removing incremental backup files?

The restore points are created on the same server or is it remote?

On the local server.

As per another post I posted, I am trying to reduce the amount of storage a scheduled incremental backup is taking on the server.

I thought the safest method would be to delete most of them (the oldest restore points) from within CP.
