Litespeed, MariaDb, PowerDNS and all others getting down in a daily bases

Hi folks,

I want share here a problem that i’m facing lately.

All day, in a daily basis at night (around by 3AM) all my server processes is being shutdown without any command, then still down for a while and then are restarted automatically.

Because of this, my whole server crashes and the Cyberpanel present Server Error 500 and sometimes don’t even access and the browser response is ERROR_CONNECTION_REFUSED - probably due the Litespeed being down - and my websites are offline too

When i activate the debug on CP settings i’ve got Mysql error 2002 - Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket - but this is kind of “right” due the inactivity of the mysql.

I’ve already check my cron process and none of them do this.
My stderr.log don’t show any error.

Please, somebody could help me to find a solution for these shutdowns?

6GB RAM
6 Core CPU
CentOS 7 64bit with CyberPanel
CyberPanel (Updated to the latest stable version)
MariaDb Version (10.5.15)
LiteSpeed Version (1.7.15)

Can you install some monitoring tool like hetrix and then track your CPU usage. This can help you figure out if your CPU and memory goes full thus your mysql going down.

The CyberPanel show my RAM usage always below of 30% and the CPU never reach the 5%.

When i use the TOP/FREE commands i have this scenario:

CyberPanel shows instance usage, install hetrix for overall usage during day/night.

Hi,

We did the use of hetrix and we didn’t see any spikes of resources consumption.
What else can be?

As you can see, when the server goes down the M.RAM usage was reduced and before that the consumption were stable without spikes.

Hi guys,

Something to comment about it?
I already reinstalled the cyberpanel from scratch and from autoinstaller (hostinger) but everynight still getting down the LSWS, MariaDb, PDNS, Dovecot and Postfix

Dont use one click installers as those are not updated and will cause issues.

Use the installation method specified here in docs.

I don’t know if the CP have some problem with Centos 7 but I had deleted the whole server system and installed the CP from scratch following the tutorial here in the docs.

The problem persisted.

Then i’ve deleted all server files, reinstalled the OS with Ubuntu following by the CP from scratch with the given instructions from docs.

Now everything works fine.

TIP: If after the installation you got some problem with permission denied from files and paths. Access the file manager of given website and click on “Fix permissions”
