LiteSpeed > Invalid credentials

Hello to the community !

I am a novice and just started playing with CyberPanel. I have installed it on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS instance and just started playing around.

I am experiencing an issue with logging into OLS. I am visiting open litespeed portal and using the admin credentials to access the webpage panel, however I am getting the error ‘invalid credentials’ on the front end. Looking into it in the debug console, the server seems to be responding a successful response (http code 200).

Looking at the logs, I noticed that a potential issue could be associated with WatchDog. I could not post the information here due to forum’s policy for 2 links.

A last note is that the SSL is not properly installed -I don’t know why- on the LiteSpeed portal. Visiting my domain on https, I am getting an encrypted connection with the correct SSL issued from the CyberPanel, however when visiting mydomain on https and port 7080, I am getting an insecure page, which I allow. The SSL associated is a self-signed www.example.com certificate.

Any ideas ?

If you are using the cyberpanel credential that will not work please check this article and reset webadmin credentials.

Thank you @shoaibkk

Running that .sh file gave me access to the LiteSpeed panel.

I also deleted all websites and created again, because there seems to be an issue when creating subdomains for the first website registered and used as fqdn for CyberPanel.

Cheers :pray:t2:
