I’m running into some issues with external invite/group links (especially those shared through link aggregator pages) when using a server managed by CyberPanel.
Here’s what’s happening:
- When someone clicks an external group invite link on my CyberPanel-hosted site, the redirect doesn’t always work properly. Sometimes it just stays on the page or shows a blank screen.
- The preview (title, image, description) also often fails to show when the link is shared in apps like WhatsApp.
For example, I manage this page:

On my server (CyberPanel + OpenLiteSpeed), some links don’t redirect to WhatsApp correctly, or the preview is missing/broken.
So my questions are:
- Could this be related to how CyberPanel handles rewrite rules or server headers (like X-Frame or redirects)?
- Is there a proper way to set up metadata (OG tags, headers) so link previews show up in apps?
- Are there any known issues with OpenLiteSpeed + CyberPanel when handling redirects from link aggregator pages (not static pages)?
Any tips, config changes, or fixes for the preview/redirect issues would be super helpful!
