is Docker even smart to trust Cyberpanel to run on?

Refreshing the page shows installation completed btw

but the question is still valid - is it woorking on Alma9 and is anyone using Docker/cyberpanl in production?

I dont even know how you back up a docker setup in cyberpanel when the server dies ( and it always does)

Hello @litespeedlover

  1. Installations can hang if there are unresolved dependencies or conflicts with existing packages.
  2. High cpu steal or memory usage can affect the installation process use htop or top to check top processes. The system might be overloaded when trying to install
  3. Check if you have sufficient disk space left. Lack of enough disk space can cause installs to hang.
  4. Docker manager has worked well since v2.3.6 after important bugs were fixed.
  5. Docker container backups: Most frameworks or software that can be dockerised have ways to backup your volumes etc. Like n8n you can use a workflow that triggers at specific intervals to back up your database and workflows to some local directory where cyberpanel backups can take over the backup process to remote cloud.
