How to Install SSL on VPS' Hostname from Hosting Provider?

Hi! I want to install SSL on my VPS’s Hostname.

OS: CentOS7.7 | Panel: CyberPanel with OpenLiteSpeed

Hostname: vs3545..com (This is the default hostname, so if I enter this with the CyberPanel Port, it opens my CyberPanel)

How can I install the SSL on this?

Yes. If I enter vs3545..com:8090 It opens CyberPanel. So basically it’s linked.

To install an SSL certificate on your VPS’s hostname with CyberPanel and OpenLiteSpeed:

  1. Obtain an SSL certificate from a trusted CA or use Let’s Encrypt.
  2. Log in to CyberPanel at https://your_vps_ip:8090.
  3. Go to “Websites” → “List Websites” and click on your hostname.
  4. Generate a new SSL certificate under the “SSL” tab.
  5. Choose Let’s Encrypt or the appropriate option for a purchased certificate.
  6. Select the generated certificate and enable SSL for your hostname.
  7. Test the SSL installation by visiting https://your_hostname.

Ensure your domain is correctly pointed to the VPS’s IP address, and refer to CyberPanel’s documentation for specific details or support.
