How do I configure my email to be able to receive and send messages to my users on my forum that I am going to set up? I use digitalocean, it already has the port open and I use cloudflare
This is not related to CyberPanel.
However, for us being able to help you, you need to give us more information than that:
- What is the forum CMS you’re using?
- What is the scope of email provider (sending via SMTP or another way)?
- What do you mean by configuring your email - as within email server or connection to email/server from your forum CMS?
In CyberPanel:
- Go to
Email
>Create Email
https://<your_domain>:8090/email/createEmailAccount - Create new email
- Go to
Email
>List Email
https://<your_domain>:8090/email/listEmails - Select newly created email
- On the left side you’ll see the SMTP credentials
In Xenforo:
- Select SMTP
- Provide SMTP credentials from your CyberPanel Email SMTP settings.
My question, to send and receive mail, DigitalOcean has port 25 open, how do I configure it?
You can open/close ports on your server in Firewall settings. If you’re using CSF, the ConfigServ CSF.
