Have you tried to upgrade a server running CentOS 7 + CyberPanel?

Hello,
Have anyone tried to upgrade a server running CyberPanel on CentOS 7 to Almalinux or Rocky Linux or even CentOS 8 successfully?

I did on a test server and it worked without an issue.

Thank you for your reply, but my servers are running CentOS7. I think it’s not possible to migrate from CentOS7 to Ubuntu 20.04.

For people running into this, and just trying a random online guide:
I tried upgrading my CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux 8, with no luck. Well, the system did migrate as it should, but LiteSpeed and CyberPanel was broken hereafter. Using the CyberPanel upgrade script didn’t work, and most things was clearly broken, while I tested a few things.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Me too, I faced nearly a similar situation. I hope there will be a tool in the future, like the one for cPanel.
