FTP with SSL Authentification

Hi there FTP works great on my install but has not SSL encryption.

Is there a way to unable either an implicite SSL connection or
an SSL authentification with this FTP server?

when I do I get the following error : 500 This security scheme is not implemented

so it seems the FTP server starts by default with TSL Authentification.
How can I changed that to SSL ?

I have a similar question. Our organization doesn’t allow ftp connections. So, I am looking into ftps connection. Is there a way to enable ftp with ssl implicit encryption on port 990?
