I chose hostinger because it won the award for the best cost-benefit VPS in 2022.
Why not recommend them?
With cyberpanel it doesn work as expected because they have software or setups behind the os that prevent you from actually using the os as yours.
From experience I have never been able to setup a cyberpanel vps preinstalled properly there is always an issue

SOmething is stopping it from proceeding probably some firewall by hostinger, cause I just setup a server for a client now and all went well. Ask hostinger support

From the original version of http://cyberpanel.net/install.sh from yours https://raw.githubusercontent.com/josephgodwinkimani/cyberpanel/main/install.sh, there are some differences on the code allowed (“normal”)?
I’m asking that because that’s my first time trying to setup a panel on Ubuntu, and I am also using Hostinger with Ubuntu 20.04 64bit. I also had the same error as before, but seems like nobody have a solution for it and I didn’t find anything online as well.

Hostinger. I was trying to create the panel using a VPS with Ubuntu 20.04 64bit.
Man i will just say it like it is. I always find people asking for support here and elsewhere about hostinger vps. Just avoid it Myself I have never supported anyone successully.
It is very clear the underlying issue here is the provider. I just setup a new server a min ago for client under hetzner. Kindly use viable solutions such as linode, scaleway, hetzner, aws, contabo.I have used those and no issues. digital ocean has an issue with ftp and mailserver issues.

I can confirm that I use Contabo and today I have 3 times re-install Ubuntu 20.04 (64-bit) and get the same error → ./cyberpanel.sh: 2: Syntax error: newline unexpected.
How to fix this issue?
I do not use the mainline i have my own fork (which is upto date with stable line of official source code) that I use for my clients who let me use it that has extra features and tweaks. I setup two servers yesterday running ubuntu 20.04 on hetzner and contabo i have no complaints considering i had to setup mailserver and migrate email accounts and websites from other panels
