Domain with special characters ("ñ"): Domain not exists

Hello, I am creating a domain in cyberpanel with the Spanish caracter “ñ”. It allows me to create it but I can’t handle it from the interface. I am getting a domain non-existent error. I have tried other names with “ñ” and it always fails. Any ideas?

I am still not aware if spanish special characters are allowed by domain registrars.

We have been able to register IDN domains with the ñ for years
