DDOS prevention question : How do you set the client throttling

I’m recently securing my Litespeed server for WordPress. I would like to do DDOS protection myself since I was asked not to use Cloudflare. I went through the official document ( DDoS Attack Protection in LiteSpeed Web Server | LiteSpeed Documentation ) about DDOS prevention, but I was not sure what client throttling configuration is recommend.

I would like to ask the forum : what client throttling configuration do you set for DDOS protection? Thx for replying.

Yes, I do have OLS on my server. I am just not sure if the example in the official document is the recommend configuration.
