Change Backup Destination

Hello.

I know that by default the Backups are saved in /Home/backup and you need to move them before being able to restore them.

I checked older posts, but I see that now we have the possibility of adding a Local Backup Destination.

So my question is - what changes do I need to make in order to be able to easily restore backups without having to access the server and move them.

Free BKPs in CyberPanel ::::: :sob:

The PC free backup solution is bad and not reliable. CyberPanel has been positioning itself as a solution that is betting on paid modules as it has already obtained the success and attention of users who have believed in the proposal of a powerful system to manage hostin in cpanel or plesk.

External backups when they work do not respect the number of configured copies … The internal BKPs have the same problem (if you don’t take care of when you notice the album has full of bkps because the system did not erase the old). The same is true of incorporation BKPS.
Anyway I have 5 VPs using this solution and because of the problem of BKPs I will really have to reconsider a new approach.

I have to agree… none of the backup systems in cyberpanel seem reliable…

The normal backup seems to work but I was told “backup retention” was a paid feature even though it doesn’t show as a paid feature.

The system of sftp for external bkps does not work does not letcreate a location (i have 65 VPSs with cyberpanel) and in none of them the system works. Before it worked more since they came with these paid modules that no longer pay attention to what is free.

I solve the problem…
