Can't rename/delete files and folder in File Manager

Hi guys, I noticed that I’m not allowed to delete any file or folders in the file manager. I tried different solutions I found in this community but none of them worked.

  1. Fix permission. I use this option several times, it never worked, same issue again
  2. Renaming file, then try again. Also I’m not allowed to rename either. If I try, I get this error message: Data supplied is not accepted, following characters are not allowed in the input ` $ & ( ) { } ; : ‘ < >.
    None of those character has been use though.

I tried then to login via FTP. I created an account. Then on File Zilla I try to login with:
Host: my IP address
username: the one created on FTP
password: the one generated
port: 21

Nothing happens, I’m not even able to login via File Zlla.

Can you help me understand this?
