An SSL issue with a domain that has subdomains

Hello dears;
I have this site that has both subdomains that are created through /websites/createWebsite and though /websites/CreateNewDomain . My domain is having an issue where browsers showing “connection is not secure”. Nonetheless, my subdomains are working well. Moreover, I have have successfully are re-issued the certificate for the root domain. Yet, no effect is reflected with the browsers SSL validating systems. Finally, I am using Cloudflare for DNS

Try setting flexible mode for SSL in Cloudflare.
