Access denied root login via SSH

Hello everyone hope you are doing great.
I recently bought a VPS in hostinger and whenever i am trying to login from command line and puTTY its showing access denied try again. What might be the cause of it?

it seems your password is not correct check with hostinger

Check your login info, is it default as root login or not. sometimes you have to login as user first, then setup root login.

I got this issue yesterday but it happened to be a DNS issue on the client side.
Something to check also.

Remoted to another machine and was able to SSH into the said server using the same password.
