Hi,

I have 4 servers with Litespeed Enterprise.
I have added several custom wildcard SSL on some domains, and works great.

But I found 1 domain that lately has been wildcard activated, now it’s turned to use LetsEncrypt.

Even when I attach and renew SSL certificate, the status said

xxx.com has SSL from DigiCert Inc.

Your SSL will expire in 680 days.

but when I visit the site, it’s not working and here is the SSLshopper check result:

The certificate was issued by Let’s Encrypt.

The certificate will expire in 89 days.

None of the common names in the certificate match the name that was entered (alternatively.com). You may receive an error when accessing this site in a web browser. Learn more about name mismatch errors.

Can anyone help?

I think it is a bug, I try to add SSL on my other domain, and the results are the same. It said

xxx.com has SSL from DigiCert Inc.

Your SSL will expire in 679 days.

But when checking, the website, it doesn’t has SSL certificate so it mismatch the other domain in the same server.

Any help on this?

I’m also facing the same issue.
I tried all mentioned steps and troubleshooted everything but SSL still does not work
I was working fine till 23/07/2021. Stopped working after that
It says

HAS SELF-SIGNED SSL.
Your SSL will expire in 3649 days.

I think you’re missing intermediate during ssl install

so try installing SSL with following

1. intermediate crt + SSL crt = pem
2. ssl private key

this will fix the issue

How to install it on cyberpanel? There is a lot off error like this, including me

me too
then i got LE limits 5/7 (because i change the IN A and revoke and re create (test) at other server)
then i tried go to other SSL and manually upload the cert and private key to ssl path
and it solved…

Is anyone know how to solve this??

did you tried
systemctl restart lsws
after issuing SSL?

custom SSL:
Website–> Add SSL
paste your : certificate.crt under “paste your cert”
priv.key under “paste your key”
then at the same place
give one “enter”
then paste bundled crt under priv.key
…
better if you know the DNS for IN CAA from your certificate publisher

fyi: LE SSL is only issue 4-5 cert for same domain name for 7-10 days
via CF 5 times for 7 days

if you already reach the limit of issue certificate, then the wizazrd will end with error

if your website is empty site you can push the https using rewrite rule

To replace a demo SSL with a production wildcard certificate from DigiCert, start by logging into CertCentral and ensuring your domain is fully validated. Then, go to Certificates > Request a Certificate, and choose the Wildcard SSL option under your production CA. Submit the CSR and complete any required validations. Once the certificate is issued, download it in the format needed for your server (e.g., Apache, NGINX). Replace the demo certificate with the new one on your server and restart your web service to apply the change.
