wordfence showing some files on the server as hacked or edited by hackers and when I try to fix the files I get this error…
An error occurred
We could not write to that file. You may not have permission to modify files on your WordPress server.
the file in question is : /home/domainname.com/public_html/index.php
googling on this errors i was able to find this answer to the problem
" Make sure that permissions on your WordPress site’s directories are 755 and that the owner on your WordPress root directory (and all contained directories) is www-data ."
question is how do I go edit files permissions on cyberpanel ?
