Try out!

sh /usr/local/csf/bin/uninstall.sh

cd /usr/src/
wget ‘https://download.configserver.com/csf.tgz
tar -xvf csf.tgz
cd csf
sh install.sh
chkconfig --levels 235 csf on
chkconfig --levels 235 lfd on
cd /etc/csf/
sed -i ‘s/TESTING = “1”/TESTING = “0”/g’ /etc/csf/csf.conf
csf -r && csf -q && service lfd restart

Hello, I`m facing issues also with csf after last update to 1.7.5, tried to reinstall it in ssh as szutka said but I got this:

in cyberpanel :

Command ‘[‘sudo’, ‘/usr/local/CyberCP/plogical/csf.py’, ‘changeStatus’, ‘–controller’, ‘csf’, ‘–status’, ‘disable’]’ returned non-zero exit status 1

in ssh after restart csf:

WARNING Binary location for [HOST] [/usr/bin/host] in /etc/csf/csf.conf is either incorrect, is not installed or is not executable
WARNING Missing or incorrect binary locations will break csf and lfd functionality

Please can you help with this?

yum -y install bind-utils sendmail e2fsprogs perl-libwww-perl net-tools perl-LWP-Protocol-https

Try to edit csf config manually to your needs

And then

csf -r && csf -q && service lfd restart

the same issue after updating. Reinstalled manually but only having an error in cyberpanel

Command ‘[‘sudo’, ‘/usr/local/CyberCP/plogical/csf.py’, ‘changeStatus’, ‘–controller’, ‘csf’, ‘–status’, ‘disable’]’ returned non-zero exit status 1

SSH: Restrict Syslog warning which adjusted manually to the recommended setting.

Run the recommendation from szkuta but still the same.

Maybe permission bug

@okgoogle

Please create a ticket https://platform.cyberpanel.net/

There was an issue with CSF module, released a minor hotfix, an upgrade should fix this issue.

How to check CSF is working? I am not able to see any log or blocking IP’s. My CSF, block IP is always blank.

Please guide

@CyberPanel

cat /etc/csf/csf.allow

@usmannasir cat /etc/csf/csf.allow having no IP and just showing some default text.
