Dashboard showing CPU USAGE 100%

My VPS run on Ubuntu 22.04 - 4 VCPU - 8GB ram (Contabo USA)
2 domais: 1 for CP and other just for emails (2 accounts).
Nothing more on VPS

Any help please?

vultr is better but hetzner even better

install btop and see whats eating the CPU or even htop

First of all, the price. I just bought 2 VPS for 3,35 EU each (2 Cores 4GB 100GB (SSD) 1 IP adress) no setup fee in USA. Non other have this price ever.
Contabo always have port 25 open … Hetzner not and Im not sure about Vultr but it cost much more.

Well that is cheap pricing for sure and 100GB is good size
yes Vultr is more (but faster hardware)
https://www.hetzner.com/de/cloud/ - hetz is great value and good speed
but understand 3 EUR servers are like trying to breath air thru a straw - not easy.

UPDATE: I switched to the Hestia Panel just to be on the safe side as there is clearly an issue with kdevtmpsfi.

Yes, seems like a crypto miner. Did you install everything from scratch?

You are attacked by a crypto miner malware. There are alot of resources on the internet to solve this and its easy.

Yes always only me in the process but what exactly is “from the scratch”? I never mess with crypto things.

For my server, it is because of redis. I disabled it and have not get this again, at least until now.

I would like to know if you had to install everything from zero and migrate from cyberpanel to hestia? Which was the process?

The VPS comes only with Ubuntu 22.04. New VPS, new IP address. Everything from zero. It was easy because I had only 1 domain for a Shopify store and for emails. As a DNS manager, I use Cloudflare, so not much has changed.
