Can't delete files although got "successfully deleted" message

Hi, I run into a problem:
I tried to delete files in “logs” folder, I got a delete successful message, but the files are still there.
I updated the file permission even to 777, and after refreshing the file is still there.

How to solve it please?

Make sure a file with the same name does not exist in the .trash folder.
If it does, then you have to permanently delet it before u can send another file with the same name to the trash.

There is no proper trash management “As yet”.
