Archive htaccess problems

I had tried to add a cache code in my website htaccess, however, this code corrupted the file and the website is down.

I tried before taking action, creating a duplicate of the file but I couldn’t. I created a copy but noticed only later that the copy had not been created.

Now my site is down, I have already removed the old code but the problem still occurs. How can I solve this problem?

There is no need of manually creating .htaccess file in the document root while you have How to write Rewrite rules for OpenLiteSpeed! (Notice this is Step 6)
