Security check recommends disabling DHCP and setting static IP

The server check suggests disabling DHCP and setting Ethernet IP statically. What is the proper procedure for doing this and where do I get the necessary information like gateway. Can this be done from the cyberpanel interface or do I need to edit the /etc/network/interfaces file?
