EC2 Cyberpanel (Ubuntu) deleted everything upon manual backup request

I tried to back up my cyberpanel public_html and it failed to backup my public_html directory instead it remove the public_html directory altogether, any remedy to retrieve lost data?

Error: Aborted, Failed to run cp -R /home/{domain}/public_html /home/{domain}/backup/backup-{domain}-09.28.2022_18-24-52/public_html…[365] [5009]

check space on your server?

If you are thinking public_html deleting due to less server space. In this case backup option should check the server space before starting the process which deleting the folder.
