ClosedPassword required to restart the server. What password though?

Hello,

I’ve added some new security rules to .htaccess and since the changes I made were not reflected, I googled out that I need to restart the server since I’m not using the enterprise version of LiteSpeed.

So I connected to my server using SSH and tried to run the following command:
systemctl restart lsws

but Putty says: "Authentication is required to restart ‘lshttpd.service’ and asking me for a password.

but what password though? It’s not the password I use(d) to log in to Web admin, right?

Any help?

Thanks!

Are you using root user? If not use sudo su - command to get root
