on our VM - operation system

You didnt even mentioned the error details you are facing then could we even help here?

I want to upgrade the CP version
but I get an error when doing the update
i am using operating system ( centos 8 stream ) .
when I run the upgrade command,

my operating system does not support.
is there a solution?

You are again not mentioning the particular error details. You are simply saying you are getting an error when doing the update but what is the error you are not mentioning it. Please send details to even help you.

Its clearly mentioned bro. You are using an unsupported OS in the server. Centos stream is not supported. You will need to use either Ubuntu 18 or Ubuntu 20.4, centos 7, centos8, almalinux, rockylinux
