I can't upgrade cyberpanel. I am using CentOS 8x

When I try to upgrade cyberpanel on my centos 8x server, I get such an error.
CyberPanel is supported on Ubuntu 18.04 x86_64, Ubuntu 20.04 x86_64, Ubuntu 20.10 x86_64, CentOS 7.x, CentOS 8.x, CloudLinux 7.x and AlmaLinux 8.x…

What is your centos8 version and how are you upgrading?

You should migrate to alma linux using their upgrade script and then upgrade.

i solved this problem. and i switched to rock linux. But I still can’t update.

I meant “upgrade to alma linux”, the guide share above is just to let you know about centos8 eol.

so can i switch rocky linux to ubuntu?

I switched to almalinux. I updated cyberpanel. but now I’m getting this error while doing normal system update.

Centos seems messed up, try posting on alma forums. once you are converted to alma we can move forward here.

Try to run the upgrade now, should be fine.

Actually the upgrade command doesnt work due to powertools repo issue I suppose.

The easy fix for now is to edit the file /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-PowerTools-CyberPanel.repo
and change enabled=1 to enabled=0
