Remote Backups Error - Can not initiate remote transfer. Error message: 'transferStatus'

I am getting the error " Can not initiate remote transfer. Error message: ‘transferStatus’ "

When trying to do Remote Backups.

I have disbaled firewalls and enabled ssh server.

Tried many times and same error.

Hi.
I have the same issue after editing /etc/cyberpanel/machineIP
I am running a local server with a dynamic IP. I have edited that file because once the ip of the machine changed, cyberpanel was displaying the old ip.
With the old ip, the backup session it was starting but could not save anything on the new server because the old ip was unreachable
There is nothing in the error log. Or maybe idk what error log to check.

  1. Did you activate API Access on both machines?
  2. Do you use standard ssh ports?
  3. Do you allow root login via ssh

…that 3 points blocked my “Remote Backup”

i have same issue

i activate API Access on both machines? >> Yes
i use standard ssh ports? >> Yes port 22 on both
i allow root login via ssh >> Yes on both
i turn off firewall on both
i run password auth for root on both

i try all what i see from comment same issue (i well download it on my pc and re upload on new server)

Make sure you guys are using the cyberpanel IP address and password in that Remote Backup page and not the server SSH password or any other password. Also the default admin username should be active and API enabled and the password for admin username should be filled in that page.

Yes, using the CyberPanel password, it even locates the sites.

But when clicking “Start Transfer”, it gives the following error: Can not initiate remote transfer. Error message: ‘transferStatus’
