Restore backups on new server not working

Hello Guys,

I whant to migrate my websites from a provider to another, i have Cyberpanel on both servers, same version Current Version 2.1 Build 2

I used Remote Backups and i get this error

Error Message: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘text’. Not able to create Account, Databases and DNS Records, aborting. [575][5009]

After i tryed another way, moved my backups to new server and tryed to restore them but same error.

On the Websites > List Websites after i get this error the website is there but on the ftp …etc complet empty

I`m truly in rush cuz i have 1 week to move my websites before the main server will be off.

I even checked error logs on the server and nothink

Any help please ?

Same problem, both servers are running on latest version.

Guys can one one from you create a ticket with our team and share server access, I would like to reproduce and fix this bug.

@usmannasir where i can create it ? i can provide full access to the server is not a problem, i`m new on cyberpanel

Just create the ticket, if its a bug you need not pay anything.

I was able to chise only Sales and Billing departments so i created it Ticket #WXNYBLC7G

@CristianD I was finally able to resolve this issue, last three commits relates to this issue

Your server is alread upgraded and patched and website is restored and working perfectly using my test via host file.

Sorry but i just dont get it, if i create a full backup of a website into a server and take the backup to the new server and restore it why dose not take the database two and restore it ? on phpmyadmin after restore the database is not there

I just check it now all , sql files ar there but it just dose not restore them, on the pannel it shows but on var/lib/mysql no

@saniba6727 do you have this problems with the database when restoring ?

I was able to restore the database just fine and doubled checked that restore was working on your server.

I dont know how you restore it but for me is not working.

I’m also facing same issue. While transferring my website from one server to another through ‘Remote Backup’, some site got transfer with database and some without database.

And those which are transferred without database showing ’ Error establishing a database connection’ error. I manually check the phpMyAdmin and the database of those websites are not present. I deleted these website and transfer again but still database is not getting transfer.

I restart the servers, deleted old backups, clear cache and tried to transfer again. But still only database is not getting transfer Both of my server’s cyberpanel are on latest version. Please take a look on this issue @usmannasir1

Even I changed the php limit, still its not working

For now, you can manually backup it and restore it via SSH (both website files and database sql file manually) without using the remote backup option.

I will check this and see what exactly is the issue with remote backup option.

Yeah, I did it manually. Just wanted to let you know about this issue. Randomly some of the database not getting transfer.

I created a new VPS to check it again and this time 33 out of 37 site transferred with database, remaining 4 transferred without database.

In previous VPS around 26-27 sites out of 37 got transferred with database, remaining without database.

Its a bug and i think they didnt fix it for new instalations, no updates.

Please provide a bug report in the github page of cyberpanel with all the details to reproduce this error. This will be fixed asap.
