Rewrite Rules are not created in docRoot (from vHost)

Hi together,

I just found this problem:

I change the “docRoot” in the vHost Config file to something like “$VH_ROOT/public_html/someFolder”

Afterwards I edit the Rewrite Rules via the Webinterface.
But the .htaccess file gets created in
$VH_ROOT/public_html/.htaccess
not in
$VH_ROOT/public_html/someFolder/.htaccess

Maybe it is possible to change the location of the .htaccess file automatically depending on the vHost Config.

I am trying to do the same thing (WordPress in a subfolder). I have updated docRoot, and am looking for more info on how to update the rewrite rules via the CyberPanel interface…
