cannot create database

when i try to create a database i get

Cannot create database. Error message: 0

i have followed this, but it didn’t help

please help, i’m trying to move my site from cpanel to cyberpanel and need database.

Did you change mysql root password? Are you trying to restore old database or create new one?

Yes i have changed mysql root password and i’m trying to make new db.

i just upgraded to latest version and now it’s saying:

Cannot create database. Error message: Data supplied is not accepted.

I am able to create a database on your server just fine, you are using some prohibited characters on your password. Following are not allowed ; && | ...

i get that, i have updated the ticket as well.

You need to update password of PHPMyAdmin and map that password with CyberPanel backend to work properly, please check the screenshot how to fix this,

This solution Helped me to fix the problem…

The First step was smooth…

But, in the second step, PhpMyAdmin page shown blank…

I changed the password from here…

/usr/local/CyberCP/CyberCP/settings.py

then I followed the remaining steps…

and worked…

Also, have WinSCP along with SSH, will be good to copy existing credentials…
