It seems wechat is only China based. Beyond its boarder, few would consider such a tool. The official channel is Discord, lots of users inside.

Well, as title says, it’s for Chinese users, not every Chinese speaks English

But don’t you think wechat is not the right thing for tech support and tech communications?

WeChat is not a great tool for a discussion I think, I live in China, don’t like WeChat as well, I use it that’s because have family they using it, they don’t know there has greater tool call telegram and develop some wonderful tool for the group talking, Amazing. lol

There are any number of social platforms in China that can be used for marketing. But if you live in China, have a business in China, or are simply interested in how Chinese people communicate online, then QQ.
